Our Telecom Department

Tecsidel is a company specializing in the development and integration of advanced information systems. The Telecom Department was constituted in 1979 to offer our services to telecom operators and equipment manufacturers. Current convergence between telecom and information systems has led to the ICTs (information and communications technologies) and extended the telecommunications offer to other sectors. At Tecsidel, part of our Telecom Department’s mission is to make it easier for our customers in the fields of administration, utilities, and audiovisual and Internet services to integrate ICTs into their business.

Knowledge of business models, the development of corporate products, and the constant selection and evaluation of market products allow Tecsidel to offer practical solutions that are common to different areas of business. The offer includes support systems for the operation and integration of corporate applications, Web portals, database systems and the development and implementation of platforms and systems for interactive digital television. Currently, our Telecom Department has a team of over 150 professionals and lends its services from our Tecsidel centres in Barcelona, Madrid, Valladolid and São Paulo.

Tecsidel’s Telecom Department is a qualified provider of technical support, training and consultancy, as well as a reliable supplier of turnkey projects. Over the years, we have gained our customer's trust and established long-lasting professional relationships. We have also established alliances with major companies in the sector, such as IBM-Tivoli (MicroMuse), IONA, DCI, Oracle, Sun, Max Bill and Cisco Systems. Some instances of the value and effectiveness of our services are 15 years of close collaboration with Telefonica Research and Development, support for several of ONO’s network management systems, network quality systems for Alcatel, and the SIS system for inventory management and ICT facilities managed by Red.es in their information society development programmes.
