Tecsidel’s Telecom Department manages knowledge via its competence centres. Competence centres are work, research and development groups comprising staff who are experts in certain areas and technologies of interest. They represent added value and a guarantee of quality, since all of our services are backed by the competence centres. The professionals who belong to the centres base their work on our customers' technological capabilities and their knowledge of our customers' business model.

The competence centres of Tecsidel’s Telecom Department evolve with the market, so they can offer clearly identified solutions as the offer gains strength. Thus, the Oracle competence centre (OCC) develops and offers technological solutions for databases and systems. The Internet competence centre (ICC) has become specialized in the integration of corporate applications; the network management competence centre (NMCC) works on sector-specific solutions by developing operation support systems; and the interactive digital television competence centre (IDTCC) develops and implements solutions for the digital TV platform.

Tecsidel's Telecom Department also has a new networks competence centre (NXCC) that offers global solutions for the integration of new generation network services, such as fixed, mobile and Internet networks. A competence centre for system testing and auditing (STCC) specialized in quality standards and structured testing protocols, and a Linux competence centre (LCC) with experience in the integration of Linux technology in companies’ systems plans.
