- Digital Plus
The applications allow listening to all of the music channels and also provide real time information on the song that is being broadcasted in the tuned in channel. Tecsidel, a company that specializes in information technology, and in providing products and services for the digital and multimedia world, has developed Music Guides that are executed in digital platform decoders. To that end, Tecsidel had to work on the two operative systems that support the platform. A new conception of music guides.
ST&Hilo’s new Music Guide service is a very complete and user-friendly interactive application. In addition to enabling users to tune in to Digital+ music channels, it gives extra information on the songs they are listening to. The meta-data that is displayed on the songs are given in real time by ST&Hilo's broadcasting systems.
The information available for each song is: the title, the song recording singer, the song writer, the year the record that the song recording belongs to was released, the title of the record that the song recording belongs to. In addition to the above references, a picture of the record cover that the song recording belongs to is also shown.
In addition to the interactive applications made in OpenTV and MediaHighway, Tecsidel has developed systems that gather information and images provided by ST&Hilo, process it, and send it to the interactive applications.

- Alcatel
Tecsidel has developed the GOOSE (Grade of Operating Services Evaluation) for Alcatel's Switching and Routing Division.
The system comprises a series of tools that enable the operator to analyze the quality of network services. That is, it transforms data incoming from a network element, stores it in an organized manner in a database and processes it.
The purpose of the system is to use the data produced by a network element to carry out a good analysis of the network's quality of service. The quality of service analysis consists in evaluating how well the demand for several services adapts to the network's available resources. Demand may be expressed by attempts or by traffic (erlangs or bit/s) and resources may be considered as the servers. Service protocols may vary. In whichever way data is collected, the quality of service analysis is executed in batches, not real time, because timed integration is needed to streamline daily variations.
One of the key features of the GOOSE system is its flexibility when processing data inputs in different formats. That is why we are considering extending the project so GOOSE can process a variety of text type data (up to now, all formats were binary) and to extend the specialized processing.
